A marginalized family tries to survive.
On a summer afternoon, while a woman has sexual intercourse with a stranger, the eldest son lies to his sister’s questions to defend her from the reality around her. The little girl hopes that an acquaintance of her mother will take them to the sea, a place she has never seen. Her brother proposes an exciting game, ending up traveling to a beach as the sun sets.

In this project, directed by Leonardo Ferro, I was in charge of the following roles: assistant director, cameraman and editor. The film was shot in three days and edited in two, at the Eyes on the Lake artist residency organized by Cortolovere. The project, once again, gave me promptness in choosing camera points and delivering the final draft. Although the budget was minimal, we managed to move the project forward with inventiveness and creativity. In the call for the residency we were asked to narrate in a cinematic way the lake of Lovere and its traditions.
